Matt spent the last of October and most of November traveling all over the country for fellowship interviews. The first was during a conference and he went with one of his good friends and co-residents. We wanted to give a sign to Matt, but we didn't want to leave out Scott (Matt's coworker) so we made a sign for him too. We also made a little welcome home bag with goody's. I found out later that Scott hung his welcome home sign up in his bedroom and became addicted to gummy bears and laffy taffy. The kids were very excited to pick Matt up from the airport. He was delayed a few times so we ran around the very empty (thankfully) airport.
