President Thomas S. Monson said, "My dear sisters, do not pray for tasks equal to your abilities, but pray for abilities equal to your tasks. Then the performance of your tasks will be no miracle, but you will be the miracle."

This is so needed for the world, and most especially for me. I love this quote.

I guess I should add one more post today, since I haven't done anything since I started it awhile ago. This is the newest addition to our home. We thought it was such a good picture. He will be a wonderful Christmas present this year.

Our ultrasound doctor is using this picture in speeches promoting life. I don't understand why people believe that this little being isn't alive. He is as real and alive as you and I.

Abbie started her first day of kindergarten on September 2. It was a sad and happy day for us. She has grown up so much. I am posting pictures of the first day. Since then however she has loved school and adores her teacher. Art, P.E., and Music are her favorite classes.

So, I decided to can some peaches for the first time. I watched my parents and grandparents do it as a child, but I had never done it on my own before. I think I was a little excited and stopped after 54 quarts of peaches and about 15 quarts of peach freezer jam.
