"Grandpa B... had a farm, e-i-e-i-oooo"

Things we miss seeing at Grandpa's house. (Grandma J, thanks for the tools and the frogs)

Birthday's

We have had a few birthday's so, I will just add the pics. My gift to my kids is to make their birthday cakes. From far away they don't look to bad, yea for me because that is how you get to view them. Makelle was into shoes, Porter is still in love with Cars, and Matt and the kids made and decorated my cake all by themselves (it was beautiful!).

My kids love dressing up. Porter especially has an imagination. One day I came downstairs and found the following. The "hat" is actually Tinkerbell's skirt. I love my kids!!!

Children Sleeping

The last two days my two younger children have fallen asleep. One because I neglected the poor kid trying to get his siblings to sleep. Just so you know he was happy and hadn't fussed. I walked in the room and found him like this. Tonight when I went to check on my kids before I went to bed I found my youngest daughter like this. I guess when your a kid you go and go until you stop. . . and then you just stop.

Filling my well

I have found at times that I need something to uplift me during the day. Sometimes it is a song, video, quote, etc. I found this video on someone else's blog and it was so inspiring to me, I thought I would share. Enjoy!

Matt was asked to make a website for his residency and he has worked really hard over the last four months to get it up and running. Every time he thinks he is getting close to being done some one else asks him to add stuff. He has revamped it and made it look better several times. The almost final product looks professional and I give full kudos to him. One of his Attendings' agrees also and has given him allowance to attend another Orthopedic Seminar of his choice (within in the continental US). I am excited because that means that I get to go with him. San Fran, Florida, Aspen. . . where or where should we go. If you want to take a peek at his work here it is:

My inlaws brought these videos called Pixar Shorts to show our kids over Christmas. This one really hit home to me and it reminded me of how I need to rebound after life gets crazy. Enjoy!
